See you guys at the 40!

Living on the edge… nice bright jersey

Hmmm. Do I need some Heed…

Yep.. I like taking pictures too.
It was a day to remember our father(s), a day we realized fudge bars and Chuckie Cheese pizza might be the key to riding faster, a day to remember to add four, five, six scoops of Heed rather than three, a day I was renamed Colenn, a day I realized I’m taking pictures of guys in tights, as well as a day I was happy to be reassured I take pictures of women too, a day I realized Porsche makes a bike rack that people actually use, a day I cracked up so hard when I saw a MTBNJ blow up doll on the course, and finally a day I will live and hear over and over as the day Tony was faster than me… and, last but not least, a day I had a great time at a race that was fast and challenging, even though I sucked wind like I was a Dyson vacuum…
First batch:

Is MTBNJ expanding their business portfolio…? Awesome ad.

Some climbs were just painful.

Look at me, I’m excited! yeah!

Lost kid on cone 7…

Oh yes, last time I reviewed the Vassago Jabberwocky and told you I was going to put on a Fox F29 to smooth out the harshness of the rigid fork, well dudes and dudettes here’s a little write up on the 2009 Fox F29 100mm travel fork.
First thing you might notice is that the new 29er fork from Fox comes in 3 travel options, 80, 100 and 120. Fox heard the cries and must of read the forums where every bike nerd was crying out for a longer travel fork for their 29 inch wheeled rigs. Besides the 3 travel options Fox also redesigned the crown making it lighter without sacrificing safety and lightened up the legs a bit to keep you weight watchers happy. I ended up getting the 100mm travel fork so the review is based on that model. The 100mm model also comes with a spacer if you want to shorten the travel to 80mm, why would you do that though? Ok lets dive right into it
