This past weekend I attended a wedding of friends Dennys and Erin in the Sierras/Mammoth Lakes at Convict Lake. Great place to visit for hiking, fishing and much more. Song: Broken Social Scene / Swimmers

We went back to Ringwood State Park today… We started at the school parking lot, climbed up the old race course downhill, down the red trail, climbed that long hill to the Japanese Trail (think I’m the only one calling it that), then climbed the long fire road to the entrance of Cannon Ball Run. From there we cut onto the race course and connected to the Death March climb to Skylands to Warm Puppy Rock and back to the School Trail to the parking lot. As usual, it was a fun ride with plenty of wet leaves… oh… yeah, and plenty of slippery wet rocks.

I made this little video of my recent 3 day backpack trip. I used a Lumix point and shoot to take the video so the quality might be a bit crazy. Enjoy. Song: Blitzen Trapper/Black River Killer
