Holiday Rambler – Kingdom Trails
31 August 2009 | By Iolo in MTB, Photos, Trails
Some say Kingdom Trails are the best on the East Coast… A seasoned rider would be foolish not to admit there are sections in the Kingdom that most could only dream. Its like John Worth and Co. did more than just cut trails, they must of used science and programming to build what could only be called a mountain biker’s real life video game…
There was going to be hills, and there was going to be singletrack. We knew about the hype, we shared all the videos about the place, but it didn’t prepare us for the thrills the Kingdom Trails would give us when we actually rode the trails ourselves. It was AWESOME. It was a shock at how awesome these trails were. We spent 3 days riding, covering everything that was deemed good and going back to the trails we liked most and just had to do it again. We rode as much as possible and had a blast riding trails that just beckoned speed. When we weren’t riding we hung out at this house built for people under 5 ft tall… playing wiffle ball in the backyard, slinging horseshoe’s at each other, starting a bon-fire, mooing with the cows, climbing trees, tinkering on bikes, drinking small town brewers beer and talking about how good those trails are. We’ll be back…
