We spent the day in Saugerties, NY visiting our friends Steve and Samantha, who own and operate Revolution Bicycles. During this time we got to ride around the town of Saugerties on a tandem bicycle, which Revolution Bicycles is happy to rent out for the day to anyone who wants to give it a try. It was my wife and I first time riding a tandem… It was definitely a different experience to riding my “normal” bikes, but none the less a fun experience…

Also, during the day we hiked to the Saugerties Lighthouse, which is a historic landmark on the Hudson River at Esopus Creek. We got caught in the high tide, but only ended up with wet feet and a few pictures of the day.
